01.

Training in AWS D18.4

AWS D18.4 is the first welding standard focused in the medical device industry. There are a number of innovations in this standard given the complexity of the medical device world. I have been involved in the creation of this standard from the beginning. Given my background in welding and this long-term involvement, I have a unique perspective and understanding of how this standard should be applied. Tell me about your welding program so I can help you understand how to design and implement this standard in your business. I can provide customized training at many levels, starting with design engineers through welders working in production.

02.

Marine

The marine environment pushes materials to their limits. There are three fundamentally different zones:

  • Submerged zone

  • Splash zone

  • Atmosphere zone

All three zones exist on a boat. What materials should one use, where, and why? Have you had some parts on your boat corrode? Break? Not perform as you expected? Let’s take a look. The marine industry is filled with options – I can add sound engineering principles that will help you succeed.

Material Consulting

In materials, the devil in in the details. Finding what details you need to focus on can be a labyrinth of seemingly conflicting data and information. Allow me to use my many years of experience to help you navigate through this maze. I can develop materials training aimed at your specific industry or application. I can help in selecting the best material or material combination for your specific case. There are many generic training programs available in the materials area, but none that focus on your specific needs. I’ve worked with personnel at all levels of the materials world, from design and design engineers through lab technicians and lab techniques. I can help you succeed.
